What are the most common challenges you encounter when using Webflow and how do you solve them?

I think the biggest challenge so far is the question of interactions on the page. Generally we do not take them into account before or rather we only have them in our mind. The way to combat it is by specifying beforehand (in the prototype) what effect it would have, even just indicating what animation it would have could be enough.

The most common challenge that I have come to deal with based on my experience is the proper use of custom code with the objective of including interesting additions to the page that Webflow does not allow to be added natively, in addition to how to optimize the Assets and compositions within the page design in search of good scores in accessibility performance, I normally solve them by retracing my steps and rectifying that everything is in its place, making a checklist one by one, looking for inconsistencies or seeking help in forums or communities that have a better idea of how to solve the problem in question.

How do you ensure that websites developed in Webflow are responsive and optimized for different devices?

Understanding the different parameters that exist depending on the device. For example, the size of images or text, as well as the ideal distribution

first reviewing what are the standard measurements and general parameters that the pages should have when reviewed on mobile devices for greater understanding, in addition to after putting them into practice, carrying out a constant review of how the page looks on different devices, sizes, screens and of course browsers.

Is it really important to have branding before starting a website project?

Yes, the more complete it is, the better, especially the logo, colors, fonts and the concept or tone of communication, failing that.

Of course, it is the graphic base from which the project will begin to be graphed, it is the element that from the beginning helps you create the visual elements that your page will have during and after its construction.

How do you manage client expectations and ensure effective communication during a project?

Asking the necessary questions, clarifying each point and making a "summary" at the end of the meeting. Likewise, make clear the limitations we have when an idea is presented that is out of our reach, instead, offer an achievable alternative or modify the conditions (budget, time, human resources, etc.)

always having everything clear from the beginning, from the need to the solution, seeking that from the first Meeting to the last, all are useful and substantial in the advancement of the project, seeking to explore optimal solutions and that we know that we can manage based on to logical problems that we know we can support, in addition to constant communication seeking to show progress and putting into practice the feedback that is given to us.

What is your closing ceremony when you finally deliver a design project?

A final presentation of the project explaining the tasks carried out and justifying the reasons for the decisions that were made. After that, a delivery and training appointment must be made if required.

The logical process that I usually follow is a Finalization Meeting where, with the help of a presentation, all the finished products are delivered, obviously access is given to all the material, everything is explained in detail and guidance is given if necessary and therefore Of course, if after this Meeting you need to make a change or work on something else, specify it right there.
